Services Australia is able to confirm that customers can continue to access Centrelink and Medicare services from the Yarra Service Centre in Abbotsford for the next three months whilst other suitable servicing options are found.
The landlord of the Yarra Service Centre in Abbotsford, advised Services Australia through its legal representative on 12 May 2020 that it will not agree to any lease extension beyond 22 May 2020.
Customers will be able to access both Centrelink and Medicare services from the South Melbourne Service Centre as of Friday 22 May.
Hurstville will soon have better access to government services with Medicare and Centrelink coming together in the one location.

Staff and services from the Mornington Service Centre will relocate to Frankston and Rosebud Service Centres from Monday 30 March this year. Mornington customers will be able to access supported services locally through an Agent service.
From Monday 24 February, Services Australia staff from Brisbane myGov will relocate to the Fortitude Valley Service Centre, committing more resources to service delivery during peak periods.
